You better take off your hats & glasses, this is the wildest winds in the wilderness! How gusty were the winds today in Anaheim on the weekend of March 7? At about 33 MPH, nearly as fast as the top speed of Big Thunder Mountain up to 35 MPH/56.3 KPH! #Anaheim #disneyland The Anaheim Ducks were tied at two against the Calgary Flames after regular and overtime. Duck’s Leo Carlsson and a Flames player got one goal & blocked goal. Next was Duck’s Mason McTavish with an amazing juke around the Flames goalie & got the goal! Which the goalie sent flying backwards in the process. After that, Flame’s Matviel Gridin shot was blocked for Ducks to win the game 3-2! #Hockey #anaheim #anaheimducks Happy 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure, which opened on February 8, 2001! So let’s see what is new for DCA’s anniversary! Anaheim Transportation Network (ATN) has been the parent transit agency since 1998 for Anaheim Regional Transportation (ART) Bus for hotel shuttles to Disneyland, Free Rides Around Town (FRAN) around downtown Anaheim, and formerly Everybody Ventures Everywhere (EVE) which used to run shuttles from Anaheim Resort Area to John Wayne Santa Ana Airport. Want to have some fun while you shop? The Irvine Spectrum Center shopping center in Irvine, California, has had their Great Wheel since 2002 for fun while you shop. It is a 108 ft tall Ferris Wheel for views of the mall and the surrounding area. After 23 years of fun, the Great Wheel will be replaced with a new & taller Ferris Wheel at 131 ft tall. There will be a new lighting system that will dazzle shoppers and drivers passing by on Interstate 5 & 405! Last rides will be on January 11 and reopen later this summer. Current admission rate of $8 per person. On New Year’s Eve, most of the two Disneyland ticket booths were torn down to make way for the Porto’s construction in Downtown Disney. When I walked by on January 2, 2026, I could hear the former La Brea Cafe building was being dismantled. #portos #anaheim #disneyland #downtowndisney Fitness clothing retailer, lululemon, has opened a shop on the first floor of the former ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney on December 19, 2025. On Wednesday, the fences were fully put up for the future Porto’s location at Downtown Disney. This sent everyone in a spiral about the foot traffic impact and why couldn’t be at the former ESPN Zone. So let’s do some research for my follow up video.
