Disclaimer: I was given an Amazon gift card by LaScoota to test & write a product review on Amazon in exchange to keep the helmet.

After getting back in the bike saddle after a decade since I moved to a more bike-able area, I got a new bike and got my old bike helmet from my parent’s house from when I rode a bike last when I was a teenager. I was not sure about the integrity of the helmet after sitting for over a decade but was serviceable for now. Thankfully with no accidents that I remembered.

When I saw that Lascoota has a product sample of their new Multi-Sport Helmet in exchange for this review, I and many others were quick to accept and write about it. So much so, when I was able to buy it on Amazon with a Lascoota gift card, small was the only size left, but I bought it anyway without reading the size chart. When I got it, small was way too small, and I borrowed my mom’s tape measure, and it was too small for me. Large size would work when comes in stock. When the helmet was restocked in January, I got a large size in light blue and held on to the small helmet until I get the large helmet to compare the sizes.

The small size is more for kids, see attached picture with the small green helmet. The medium size is more for teenagers. The large is for adults like me, see attached picture with the large blue helmet.

I received the large helmet just in time for my next bike ride to write this review. I like the helmet colors that are bright, so you can stand out to road and pathway users. The helmet ventilation holes are large, so I can cool myself better than my previous helmet with more narrow holes. This is a multisport helmet for bilking or riding any wheeled device like a skateboard or kick scooter. However, the shape of the helmet is more circular than the more aerodynamic bike-specific helmets, which may cause air drag. The cushion was comfortable, and I am sure it will help me lessen the impact when I get into an accident that hits my head.

Finally, the adjustable sizing and the large size fit me perfectly. I just need to make some fine adjustments to make sure that the helmet does not move when I shake my head & not restrict blood flow in my head.

For $25, it is a perfect deal if you have many types of wheeled devices and not needing perfect airflow around the helmet like you are racing your next bike race, who consistently passes me on the bike trails!

Added on 1/17/23: Amazon rejected my review since it went against the review guidelines, and personally added too much detail. Below is the stripped down, complied version.
