My last few Disneyland Resort updates were way too long. Averaging about half an hour, these types of videos require several hours of writing and video editing for only 100 viewers on YouTube and are not compatible with other social media sites. To make things easier on me & be more compatible with more sites, I have to do things a bit differently.

I go around Disneyland as normal and film virtually to post on my Instagram Stories, make a quick script under the 2,200 character limit for Instagram & TikTok post captions, film on my webcam & microphone, edit the video on my computer with DaVinci Resolve, and then post is to my social media.

While editing on DaVinci, I overlay the video of me with the photos in the middle of the shot while I am on one side. One neat feature is that I can regularly edit horizontally for YouTube, and then render it in portate for Instagram Reels & TikTok, so I can assemble a video in one go. I cannot post it to YouTube Shorts since the video was at 2:30, while the platform limit is a minute. One interesting fact, at the end of the video, I have the Disneyland monorail departing the Downtown Disney station. However, TikTok took down the video as the sound of the monorail is copyrighted, by who? Walt Disney Company?

TikTok notification “Your video has been muted because the copyright owner hasn’t made the sound available in your country or region.” Who owns the sound of the monorail, the Walt Disney Company?

Video are posted below, along with the script below those. Enjoy the video!

A quick rundown for Disneyland Resort in June 2023. With it being June, school is out and the parks are crowded, by noon, Pixar Pals parking has already closed by then, forcing guests to park at Mickey & Friends parking garage, which was getting crowded.

To add to the crowd, Grad Nites take over the parks until mid-June, a special ticket party for high school graduates. Schools can buy park hoppers, just California Adventure, or just the party starting at 9 pm when the general public is kicked out.

Splash Mountain closed on May 30th and immediately walled up to refurbish into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to open in 2024.

French Market & Mint Julep Bar is still being worked on to become Tiana’s Palace. You can still get beignets at Hungry Bear Restaurant.

Progress is going smoothly on the Adventureland Treehouse, which is inspired by the previous incarnation of the Swiss Family Robinson movie.

At DCA, Pacific Wharf is still undergoing refurbishment to become San Fransokyo Square, inspired by Big Hero 6. Currently, Boudin’s Pacific Wharf cafe is having plenty of exterior work, a new mural above the restrooms, and the Karl Straus beer cart was kicked out to become a Baymax meet & greet.

Many attractions were breaking down in recent weeks, and Monster’s Inc. was no exception. At least it reopened 45 minutes later, however, there have been issues with attraction breakdown more and more. Just for you to be aware.

In downtown Disney, Beignets Express is fully open as a replacement for the Jazz Kitchen’s quick service options with lines going all the way down the alley. Catal & Uva Bar have not have any new exterior construction via ale from guest view. The construction fence of the former AMC theater encroaches for the Downtown Disney Live stage so far into the walkway, when the dance circle were unusually large, it encroached on the walkway for guests passing by to go to the hotels & downtown Disney parking. That’s all for this update, time to enjoy a monorail departure.
