AntSol Travel

DesignerCon @designercon is a fan convention originally for artists selling vinyl collectibles, then later expanded to all facets of art, design, and collectibles. The convention is currently taking place this weekend in Anaheim Convention Center in halls C (155,673) + D (221,284) = 376,957 sq. ft. of event space. Many artists from the small part time artists who are trying to get their name out, larger famed artists, artists collectives, art galleries, collectors for sneaker art, non fungible tokens (NFT) collectives, and even movie Sony Animation Studios were there. Artists set up shop to sell their art to the masses or at least to get their name out. Some appeal to the general public such as the artists I featured in my Instagram Story, @monstercitystudio detailed sculptures using computer programs, @pizzaplanettruck recreation of the Pizza Planet truck from Toy Story, @sonyanimation celebrating their 20th anniversary with panel talks during the show, @theshagstore amazing mid century art style of Disney Parks attractions, and @joe_ledbetter collaboration with Disney for new Mickey & friends vinyl figures line. However, some are a bit out of the box that appeal to their niche that does not appeal to me at all. It was cool to check out but left empty handed since all of them I mentioned are on the more expensive end that is hard to do an impulse buy, but I am definitely considering Joe x Disney vinyl figures when it is available in January. Today is the last day of the show with admission for $25.
