As a hotel staff & guest, I want things to be nice and clean when I touch them & long after I touch them. However, in a high-touch environment like hotels, we all touch the cards, room keys, door handles, credit terminals, and more. Especially during the beginning part of the 2020 closures, we had to make sure to clean the credit card terminal between each guest, as the commercial grade sanitizers only work just after you just spray it.

As supply chains improved since 2020, brands such as Microban were a good solution to clean surfaces for up to 24 hours. However, it leaves a sticky residue. I talked with Dr. Bob Godfroid, the President & Chief Science Officer of SRFC Bio., during the Hospitality Show about their solution is not as sticky as similar sanitizers.

Want to clean and sanitize your surfaces for up to 24 hours without the sticky residue, SRFC Bio. has the solution with their RS spray. It uses a residual technology that continues to work for up to 24 hours while killing 99.9% of germs without any sticky residue, great at home, work, or travel settings. It can disinfect most surfaces with its patented RS technology that uses polymer chemistry to create a long-lasting barrier on non-porous-non food contact surfaces, such as countertops, door handles, pens, and even papers such as glossy card stock. Be cautious when spraying electronics as it may short out the electrical components or interfere with touch input on the screens of phones & tablets.

Is it about $9.50 per quart of the spray, but will decrease over time as the scale of economics continues for SRFC Bio., it is currently available for commercial customers only for right now.
